Goals of NRHM

1)Reduction in Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) by 50 % from existing levels of 70 within 2012.....

2)Reduction in Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) by 50 % from existing 407 within 2012.....

3)Universal access to public health services such as:- Womens health, child health, water, sanitation & hygiene, immunization and nutrition.....

4)Prevention & control of communicable/ noncommunicable diseases & locally endemic diseases.....

5)Access to integrated comprehensive primary health care.....

6)Population stabilization, gender and demographic balance.....

7)Revitalize local health traditions and mainstream AYUSH.....

8)Promotion of healthy life styles.....

Outcome of the Mission

1)Infant Mortality Rate reduced to 30/1000 live births.....

2)Maternal Mortality Ratio reduced to 100/100,000.....

3)Total Fertility Rate Reduced to 2.1 -3.....

4)Malaria Mortality Reduction Rate- 50% upto 2010, additional 10% by 2012.....

5)Kala Azar Mortality Reduction Rate - 100% by 2010 and sustaining elimination until 2012.....

6)Filaria/Microfilaria Reduction Rate: 70% by 2010, 80% by 2012 and elimination by 2015.....

7)Dengue Mortality Reduction Rate: 50% by 2010 and sustaining at that level until 2012.....

8)Japanese Encephalitis Mortality Reduction: 50% by 2010 & sustaining at that level until 2012.....

9)Cataract Operation: increasing to 46 lakhs per year until 2012.....

10)Leprosy Prevalence Rate: reduce from 1.8/10,000 in 2005 to less than 1/10,000 thereafter.....

11)Tuberculosis DOTS Services: Maintain 85% cure rate through entire Mission period.....

12)Upgrading Community Health Centres to Indian Public Health Standards.....

13)Increase utilization of First Referral Units from less than 20% to 75%.....

1)Dial 108 (toll free) to get free emergency Ambulance service.....

2)Mobile Medical Unit equiped with USG, XRay, ECG, Lab facility is rendering health services in remote & inaccessbile areas.....

3)Under 'Janani Suraksha Yojana' every rural mother will get Rs. 1400/- & urban mother will get Rs. 1000/- for conducting delivery in Govt Hospital.....

4)Under 'Majoni' scheme every girl child (upto 2 in order of birth) delivered in Govt Hospital (general ward) will get Fixed deposit of Rs. 5000/- which she can withdraw at 18 yrs.....

5)Under 'Mamoni' scheme all Pregnant Women registerred for ANC in Govt Health Institution will get a Mamoni booklet containing important instruction for would be mother and Rs. 500/- during 2nd ANC & aother Rs. 500/- during 3rd ANC with a Referral Voucher

6)Evening OPD service (5-8 pm) (with free medicine, laboratory service & Radiological services as per availability) is now available in Boitamari BPHC, Chalantapara MPHC, Bongaigaon BPHC, Bidyapur CHC, Manikpur BPHC, Abhayapuri CHC & Srijangram BPHC.....

7)24x7 Delivery services now available in Bongaigaon CH, Abhayapuri CHC, Bidyapur CHC, Boitamari BPHC, Manikpur BPHC, Srijangram BPHC, Chalantapara MPHC, Bishnupur SD, Chaprakata MPHC, Chiponsila MPHC, Patiladaha MPHC, Chakla SD, Lengtisinga MPHC & Pachania MPHC.....

8)Bhawlaguri Urban Health Centre has been set up primarily for Urban slum dwellers health care needs.....

9)Free referral services for pregnant woman & sick new born now available in Abhayapuri CHC, Boitamari BPHC, Bongaigaon BPHC, Bongaigaon CH, Chalantapara MPHC, Chiponsila MPHC, Dhantola MPHC, Dumerguri MPHC, Manikpur BPHC, North Salmara SD, Rangapani SD & Srijangram BPHC.....

10)All the 30 nos. of CHC, BPHC, MPHC & SD of the district now have doctor.....

11)All the 57 Sub-centres & 18 outreach areas now have ANM.....
